The 8th Annual Meeting of the East Asian Society of Endourology (EASE 2011) Scientific Program Committee is pleased to receive abstracts for Poster Sessions.

While the program of the EASE is centered on oral and video presentations delivered by invited speakers, submission of moderated posters is also invited publicly.

This year, the 29th World Congress of Endourology & SWL (WCE2011) will be held in conjunction with EASE2011 and they will share an online abstract submission system. If you would like your poster abstract reviewed both for EASE 2011 and WCE 2011, please check the appropriate boxes on the submission page. WCE abstract submission was closed on July 22. All abstract submitted after this date will be reviewed only for EASE. For details on WCE abstract submission, please visit the WCE 2011 website.

REGISTRATION

Presenting authors are required to register for the meeting before submitting their abstracts. The Registration Number (NOT Sign-in ID) issued after completing online registration is required in order to submit abstracts.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All abstracts should be submitted online through the relevant website. Abstracts will be accepted in English only. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words in length. (Submissions will not be accepted if they exceed the 250 word count.)

The abstract should be organized as follows:

- Introduction

- Purpose

- Materials and Methods

- Results

- Conclusions

- One (1) graphic, photo or table may be included and will count as 50 words

There is no fee for submitting an abstract. There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit. Submitters of abstracts are able to choose in which category they would like to submit their abstract.

There are two types of poster presentation sessions:

- Moderated Poster

- Un-moderated Poster

The Moderated Poster session will be a podium-like session. After an overview on posters, each author will have up to two minutes to make a brief presentation (with PowerPoint if needed). After each presentation, there will be time for Questions & Answers. Details on how to format your printed poster will be provided upon notification of abstract acceptance.

IMPORTANT

The abstract of the accepted poster will be published in the official journal of EASE, "Recent Advances in Endourology, vol.14". The abstract will become copyrighted material upon acceptance for presentation.
