Eligibility
- The Japanese main author & co-authors should be a member of the Japan Pancreas Society.
For membership in the society, please refer to http://www.suizou.org/apply/tetsuduki.htm (Japanese site only).
- Abstracts must be original, and not have been published or presented at any other congress prior to IAP&JPS2010.
- Applications are accepted only through online registration from this website. Submission by e-mail, fax or postal mail will not be accepted.
- Please submit an abstract less than 300 words in English for being published in the abstract book. Figures and tables should not be included in the abstract.The title should be within 30words.
- Maximum number of co-authors: 20
Maximum number of institutions/affiliations: 21
- The president reserves the right on acceptance/rejection of abstracts, presentation style and presentation field. Acceptance/registration can be checked online. The date of announcement will be posted at a later date.
- Early registration is recommended due to the congestion in website access immediately before the deadline.
- ID number and password will be required to modify the registered data. Please be sure to keep the information issued at the registration.
Please note that inquiries on passwords will not be accepted for security reasons.

Application for Young Investigator's Award (YIA)
The organizing committees of the IAP&JPS2010 will give awards to the young researchers who submit an outstanding abstract for free paper (oral or poster). If YIA is approved, $800(USD) will be awarded by the organizer. Please note that complimentary accommodation and registration fee of the congress will not be offered, and all arrangement of applicant's transportation to the venue and accommodation during the congress period will be applicant's responsibility.

Eligibility
- An applicant should be 35years old or under at the time of application and working in countries other than Japan is eligible.
- An applicant must be the first author of an abstract for free paper (oral or poster).

How to Apply
If you are eligible for Young Investigator's Award and wish to apply, please select "I apply for the YIA" when you submit the abstract through the conference web site. The following materials should be submitted to the IAP&JPS2010 secretariat via email or fax below.

- Letter of support from your mentor, outlining contributions of your research work and justification for award consideration.
