*A new investigator is defined as a PhD student, post-doctoral fellow, or new investigator within 3 years of receiving their doctoral or senior degree.

**An accompanying partner is a non scientific participant.
The registration fee includes social events.

Method of Payment

We accept only credit card payments in principle.
Please consult with the Conference Secretariat if you are not able to pay by credit card.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations made in writing and received by the Secretariat by 30 June 2012 will be eligible for a full refund minus a JPY 5,000 administration fee. Cancellations made between 1 July - 31 July 2012 will be refunded 50% of their registration fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received on or after 1 August 2012 or for no-shows.

Dietary Requests

We can only accommodate dietary requirement due to religious or medical reasons on a limited basis. Please specify the requirement on the registration form. We are unable to cater to dietary requirements other than for the reasons above. Thank you for your understanding.

Visa Requirements

All delegates are responsible for checking visa entry requirements for Japan. Applications can take up to several months to process and some delegates must apply for their visa in person at their local Japanese embassy or consulate. Please contact your local embassy for entry formalities and apply for any required visa well in advance.
The Conference Secretariat is unable to issue a letter of invitation to delegates prior to receipt of the registration form and full payment of fees.
