Inormation for Oral Sessions

Information for Chairs

Please seated in the next chairpersons’seats located at the front right of your session room at least 10 minutes prior to your session starts.

Presentation Guidelines

  • Please prepare your data in Microsoft Power Point and please preview your presentation data at the PC Center (Room 103) at 30 minutes prior to your session.
  • Remote presentation system is equipped in the each session room. You have a TFT monitor, mouse and keyboard on the podium to operate your presentation.

PC Center

PC center is located at Room 103.

  • Only USB flash memory and CD-R are accepted.
  • Windows is the only operating system available for the presentations.
    (If you have prepared the presentation date on a Macintosh, you are advised to bring your own PC.
  • If your presentation date is linked to other files, those linked files should also be saved in the same folder, and checked the operation beforehand.
  • If your presentation data has audio/movie image, please bring your own PC for presentation.

If your bring your own PC

  • The secretariat will prepare a Mini D-sub 15 pin PC cable connector. If your PC in not compatible with this cable connector, please bring an adaptor to connect your PC to Mini D-sub 15 pin PC cable connector.
  • Please bring your AC adopter with you.
  • After checking your data at the PC Center, please bring your PC to the operation desk in the session room 30 minute prior to the start time of your session.
  • Following the conclusion of your session, we will return your computer at the operation desk. Please come to the operation desk promptly to collect it.
  • Allocated Time for Presentation

    8〜10min(depends on the sessions)
    Round-table Discussiion:

    General Sessions:
    7〜10min(depends on the sessions)

    * This is not the case with keynote speakers.

Information for Poster Sessions

Poster presenters are asked to place their posters at the designated space by following the schedule below.

Preparing your posters

  • Please prepare your posters to fit in the poster board size.
    Poster: 2100mm high by 900mm wide
    Title, name, affiliation: 200mm high by 700 mm wide
  • The secretariat will prepare a panel with your poster number.
  • The secretariat will prepare the poster panel and pins. Please do not use any tape etc. That is not provided by the Secretariat.

Poster Presentation

Poster presenters are expected to be ready in front of your poster panel during poster discussion. Allocated time for each presenter is around 8 minutes. Please keep the time to ensure smooth proceedings, by following chairperson’s moderation.
