Free Oral and Poster Presentation Time and Date

Instructions for Plenary, Symposia and Free Oral Session Speakers
For Symposia and Plenary session speakers, please consult with the chair of your symposia.
The presentation time for free oral session is 10 minutes, including discussion.
Please note that session rooms will have a data projector and we will only accept computer-based PowerPoint presentations. Slide/Overhead/VCR projectors will NOT be available. Please bring your presentation on your own laptop computer, a CD-R or USB flash memory stick. If your presentation includes movies and animation, be sure to bring your own computer.
1. If you bring a CD-R or USB flash memory stick, please follow the instructions below:

Presentation must be made in PowerPoint readable in Windows or Macintosh. |

The computers provided for the sessions will be running the following operating system with the following application software installed.
Windows: Windows XP/PowerPoint 2003 (Japanese language version)
Macintosh: Mac OS X/ PowerPoint 2004 (Japanese language version) |

2. If you bring your own laptop computer, please follow the instructions below:

Ensure that your computer is equipped with the monitor connector of mini D-sub 15 pins as shown below. If your computer does not have this connection, please bring an appropriate converter with you.

Be sure to bring an AC adapter and voltage inverter (voltage 100). |
3. Please be aware that computers are not equipped for international circumstances. Please be prepared by testing your operation system with several computers.
4. Speakers’ PC Preview space is available for speakers to prepare and set up before their presentations, located on the 5th and 10th floor of Osaka International Convention Center. Please bring your computer or a CD-R/USB memory stick to the PC preview space at least 120 minutes prior to your presentation.
For presenters of Morning Satellite, please finish PC preview on the previous day of the presentation or bring data directly to the presentation room on the day of the presentation.
5. A display monitor, keyboard, and remote mouse will be provided on a podium for presenters to operate.

1. The poster board measures approximately 150cm high x 90cm wide.
A poster number display (20cm x 20cm) is placed at the top left of the board.
2. Presenters must check in at the Poster Reception desk upon
3. A supply of pushpins will be available in the poster area for mounting.
4. Poster Material must be prepared in advance and should be large enough to be viewed from a distance of one meter.
5. Poster presenters should prepare a label that indicates the paper title, name of author(s), and their affiliation(s) and put it at the top of the board. The presenting author’s name should be marked with a circle.
6. Authors are responsible for completing the mounting and removing within the assigned time.
7. Authors are expected to present at their poster during the discussion time.
8. Do NOT leave poster tubes or cases in the poster areas. The organizers are not responsible for any losses which may be incurred.
9. Posters not removed by the removing time will be discarded by the congress secretariat.
We are pleased to announce that below abstracts are accepted for presentation at the IPA 2007 Osaka Silver Congress. Acceptance E-mails have been sent to main author individually.
