Information For Speakers
Oral Presentations
For Chairpersons
- All chairpersons are requested to be seated on a chair prepared for the Next Chairperson in the lecture room, no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
- Staffs are allocated to each room, but announcements will not be made. Session progress will be left entirely upon chairpersons.
Chairpersons are asked to ensure that all sessions start on time and finish punctually as scheduled. - In the case of early completion of the previous session, please wait to commence your session until the specified starting time on the program.
For Speakers
1. For State of Art Lecture, Symposium, and Free Paper Speakers
- If you are Windows users, you may only bring your presentation data on a USB memory stick for presentation using the secretariat's PC, we will provide a PC running Windows XP with Mirosoft Power Point 2003 and 2007. Taking your own PC is recommended in order to avoid any trouble.
If you have prepared the presentation data on a Windows Vista, Window7 or Macintosh, please bring your own PC. The conference center PCs only accept Windows XP.
If your PC needs an adjuster for Mini D-sub 15-pin, please prepare it by yourself.
You cannot connect without Mini D-sub 15-pin.
* Please make your data with Microsoft Power Point 2003 and 2007.
* Although you can use animation and movies, please make it playable with Windows Media Player or taking your own PC in recommendes.
- Please check in your data at the PC & Video preview desk located in the lobby on the 2nd floor International Convention Center PAMIR by an hour before the session time.

2. For Video Forum Speakers
- Please check in your movie data at the PC & Video preview desk located in the lobby on the 2nd floor International Convention Center PAMIR by an hour before the session time.
- Only PC movie data will be applicable for presentation.
- Movie should be prepared in Windows Media Player for Windows users.
- Please note that no Macintosh PC will be available for presentation. If you have prepared the presentation data on Windows Vista, Window7 or Macintosh, please bring your own PC.
- Presentation time: Speech 8 minutes + Discussion 3 minutes
Poster Presentations
- The Schedule of the poster sessions is as follows: Date: Saturday, May 15
Posting 9:00 - 10:30 Display 10:30 - 16:30 Presentation 11:30 - 12:30 Removal 16:30 - 17:00 - Poster presenters are required to preside at their poster panel during presentation time for discussion with the participants.
- Poster Dimensions: 90cm wide x 130cm height for your presentation.
Authors are requested to prepare a title card including the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s).
The title card will be 70cm wide x 20cm height. - Authors are responsible for displaying and removing their materials.
The secretariat will provide materials to affix your poster to the board. - After poster removal time, the displayed posters will be cleaned up by the secretariat.
