The efficacy of His-bundle pacing (HBP) was first described in patients with heart failure, permanent atrial fibrillation, and normal His-Purkinje activation in 2000. Since then, the feasibility of HBP has been demonstrated in patients with bradyarrhythmias and preserved His-Purkinje conduction. The validity of HBP has also been estimated in patients with abnormal His-Purkinje conduction (infranodal and bundle branch block) and heart failure. Lately, left bundle branch pacing has been attempted in patients with left bundle branch block or high thresholds of HBP

In this symposium, we would like to have active discussion on the efficacy and safety in permanent HB and bundle-branch pacing in whom, where and how to pace His-Purkinje conduction system.
