All papers presented at NanoSPD3 will appear
in a special issue of Materials Science Forum, published by
Trans Tech Publications in Switzerland (http://www.ttp.net).
This periodical is covered by the Science Citation Index and
appears in all major abstracting journals.
In order to keep the proceedings volume to a reasonable length,
the papers must conform to the following length restrictions:
Keynote and Invited papers: Maximum of 8 printed pages
Contributed papers: Maximum of 6 printed pages
Papers that exceed these limits will be returned for reduction
without review. All papers must be prepared following the Instructions
for Authors which can be downloaded from the following website:
http://www.ttp.net/web/download.cfm
There are two options for submitting the paper. The preferred
option is to submit the paper as an e-mail attachment to the
following e-mail address:
nanospd3-paper@zaiko.kyushu-u.ac.jp
The second option is to submit the paper as a printed copy together
with a
floppy disk or CD. For this option, please mail to:

All papers will be peer reviewed and, if necessary,
returned for revision or correction. To ensure adequate time
for the reviewing process, all papers must be received no
later than the official deadline of March 1, 2005. The published
proceedings will be available for pick-up at the Registration
Desk on September 21, 2005.
Each paper should be accompanied by a separate
statement listing the name of the responsible author, the
relevant telephone/fax/e-mail information and the manuscript
number (given in the acceptance letter). Each paper requires
a Copyright Transfer Agreement. The relevant form should be
downloaded from the web, printed, signed and returned with
the manuscript. If offprints are required, please download,
complete and return an Offprint Order Form.
