Fukuoka airport is accessed easily from three major international
airports in Japan: Narita International Airport (Tokyo), Kansai
International Airport (Osaka) and Nagoya International Airport.
Fukuoka is also connected directly to many Asian cities.
Those who arrive at Narita Airport may take a bus or train to
Haneda Airport (Tokyo) where more frequent domestic flight services
to Fukuoka are available. Fukuoka is also reached by JR high-speed
Shinkansen (bullet) trains running from Tokyo through Nagoya,
Kyoto and Osaka. Fukuoka is the terminus of the high-speed Shinkansen
called the JR Hakata station.
