Built in 1966 as the first national conference facility in Japan, the Kyoto International Conference Center (ICC Kyoto) has proven to be a leader in convention know-how. The Kyoto Protocol (1997) remains a landmark event among its growing list of achievements.

TODAY

ICC Kyoto is a beautiful building overflowing with character, located a relaxing, natural park setting. Nestled among the green hills of Takaragaike Park at the northern edge of Kyoto City, ICC Kyoto is easily accessible by subway and is only minutes from Kyoto’s major hotels. With on-site water recycling and cogeneration systems that utilize natural gas and reduce carbon dioxide, the Center is striving to preserve its lush green environment while constantly looking ahead to the standards of the future.
