Scholarship

The 2nd World Dysphagia Summit (WDS2020) offers the following two types of scholarship opportunities to participants from overseas.

  • Scholarship for Asian people (20 of applicants)
  • Scholarship for non-Asian people (10 of applicants)

The purpose of these scholarships are to support WDS2020 participants from overseas and to make the meeting more international.

Eligibility

The scholarships are open to all overseas participants whose abstract have been accepted.

Application Guideline

The application deadline is Friday, July 17, 2020. Applicants are requested to submit the following two documents by email* to the WDS2020 congress secretariat (wds2020@congre.co.jp).

Application documents:

  • Resume (one page of A4 size paper)
  • A letter of recommendation from the director of your institution
  • Abstract

* Please make your email title “WDS2020 Scholarship.”
All applications will be replied with secretariat’s confirmation within one week of the application date. If you do not receive any response for a week after your application, please contact us again to make sure your application is received.

Selection

Applicants will be selected based on evaluation of the abstract and personal information / background.
The recipients will be informed personally by email in mid-August, 2020.
They also will be announced on the congress website.

Funding

As a benefit of this scholarship, each recipient will receive JPY50,000 and the complimentary registration.
