*1 Please note that if you select "Trials in Progress", your abstract will NOT be inserted in the JSMO2015 abstract USB or any other electrical tools. Your submitted abstracts will be printed and handed out to the participants at the presentation room.
*Abstract Incentive Award
-Age limitation: The first author must be under age 40 (as of July 18, 2015)
-Once you are nominated as a candidate, you will be requested to submit electronic data for review in May, 2015.
*The peer review committee will evaluate submitted abstracts comprehensively based on the study contents, ethical aspects, etc., to decide.
Late-breaking abstracts
JSMO2015 will put out a call for late-breaking abstracts which are based on latest results of researches to discuss deeply.
If you are applying for late-breaking abstracts, please select "Yes" for the question, "Are you applying for late-breaking abstracts?" and submit outline and predicted result of your research as interim registration in the abstract text box.
In the beginning of April, 2015, the secretariat will notify you to complete the abstract submission. Please complete the submission by April 17(Fri), 2015.
*If you submit the complete abstract later than April 17(Fri), your abstract may not be included in the JSMO2015 USB Abstract which will be created for the congress ahead of time.
Plenary Session (International Session)
JSMO2015 is planning to have “Plenary Sessions”.
*The topic of the plenary session will be selected from among the submitted titles.
Travel Award
Among the titles submitted to the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology 2015 Annual Meeting, those submitted by young researchers living in other countries than Japan will be reviewed by a selection committee. The travel expenses of presenters who have submitted outstanding work will partially be refunded.
*JPY50,000-100,000 of travel support to investigators from Asia. (depending on the quality of abstract)
*JPY150,000 of travel support to investigators from US or EU.
*If you get supports from any company, your application for Travel Award will be counted as invalid.
Publication in “Annals of Oncology”
The submitted English abstracts for JSMO2015 Meeting are going to be published in “Annals of Oncology” (Oxford University Press).
If you wish to put your abstract in “Annals of Oncology”, please select "Yes" for the question.
*Note: We accept encore abstracts for presentations as long as the abstract has new view on the topic or being updated with subset analysis. However, if your abstract is an encore abstract it cannot be included in “Annals of Oncology”. Please select “No” for the question.
Disclosure of Conflict of Interest at the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology 2015 Annual Meeting
The first authors and directors (who are in charge of the studies, usually last author) must disclose applicable COI (Conflict of Interest) of your presentation at the meeting. Please inform the COI from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014.

Abstract Submission
【Guideline】
We accept abstracts submitted through only online submission system.
You can go to the submission screen from the button “Abstract Submission” located at the bottom of this page.
(1) Author information and abstracts must be submitted in English.
(2) Abstract title must be up to 120 byte characters.
(3) Abstract text must be up to 2,000 byte characters.
(4) The maximum of 10 authors (first author & co-authors) can be registered.
(5) The maximum of 10 affiliations (including the affiliation of first author) can be registered.

(9) In the registration screen, you will be asked to enter the information such as “application for Late-breaking abstracts”, “application for Travel Award”, “publication in Annals of Oncology” and COI information.
*It is recommended that you prepare your abstract text by word/text file in advance, then copy it on the registration screen.
*After completing the abstract submission, the abstract registration ID number and your password will be sent to the first author’s e-mail address. The ID number and password will be required to confirm/modify/delete/add abstracts. Please be sure to enter the correct e-mail address. Please be sure to keep the ID number and password by yourself. The congress secretariat cannot keep track of your information.
Confirmation / Modification / Deletion of submitted abstract & Additional submission
You can confirm/modify/delete/add abstracts during the abstract submission period. The ID number and password will be required to enter the screen (confirm/modify/delete/add abstracts).
Acceptance/rejection notification
The first author will be notified the decisions of acceptance/rejection by e-mail which was registered at abstract submission. The notification will be sent to you by May.
