We will broadcast E-Poster (total 10 abstracts) on September 29th from 12PM-14PM via ZOOM webinar.

From the viewpoint of preventing the spread of COVID-19, this symposium has been changed from “hybrid symposium”to “on-line symposium”. In accordance with this the registration fee will be free.

In view of the global situation affected by COVID-19, “Progress in Radiology 2021” will be held in a hybrid format, combining on-site and online sessions.

Online Registration will start in September 10, at 12 AM JST.

Dear Colleagues,

The new schedule of Progress in Radiology 2021, Sep 29 to Oct 1, Sapporo, Japan.

Through a discussion with board members, we decided to postpone the schedule of “Progress in Radiology 2021, 13th Symposium of the Japanese Scandinavian Radiological Society & 16th Nordic Japan Imaging Informatics Symposium. Rearranged schedule is Sep 29 - Oct 1 at the venue of Sapporo Medical University in Sapporo.

Our policy to handle the submitted abstracts is as follows:
1) All abstracts submitted to Progress in Radiology 2020 or 2021 (May) are automatically transferred to Progress in Radiology 2021 (Sep-Oct), unless the author notifies us a withdrawal of the submission. If the author would like to withdraw submission, please send e-mail to us, jsrs2021@congre.co.jp by the end of June.

2)If the author becomes unable to attend the symposium after submitting the abstract due to a pandemic of COVID-19 or other reason, we would like to change its presentation category from oral presentation to poster presentation. In this case, registration fee will be waived. For those, we would like to ask to send us a slide produced by Power Point.

3)If the author has applied for a poster presentation and becomes unable to come to the venue, the category of poster presentation remains and the submitted slide will be presented at the poster presentation. In this case, as well, the participation fee will be waived.

4) If the author would like to modify the abstract, please send a new abstract with comments of modifying the previous abstract and its title or ID shown on the web page of submission by the end of June.

5) Of course, new submissions to the Progress in Radiology 2021 (Sep-Oct) are welcome by the end of June.

Rescheduling of Progress in Radiology

March 22^nd, 2020

We are sorry to hear the news regarding spread of Covid-19 pneumonia and many people died from the disease especially in Europe.
According to pandemic of the disease, it is becoming hard to open upcoming Progress in Radiology 2020 as scheduled. After discussion with board members, I am considering rescheduling Progress in Radiology to next year, around May to June in 2021.
Although the exact dates and venue are not determined, I will ask board members for suitable schedule soon after checking available dates and venues in Sapporo.

Regarding new type viral pneumonia As you know, we are now encountering a pre-outbreak of new type viral pneumonia, COVID-19 in Japan and carrying out as much as we can to prevent outbreak. It is considered that upcoming two weeks from 28th February would be a crucial time period. I am optimistic that we could manage the spread of this disease until late March at the latest. I will keep in touch with you all about the situation.
