832 delegates and participants around the world attended throughout the congress.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this meeting.

We received several messages regarding recent heavy rains in southwest Japan. Thank you very much for your concern.
We are happy to announce you that all our venues are intact and Fukuoka city is back to normal. Transportation is recovering and Shinkansen or the Bullet Train started to operate already in the evening of July 7th.
Please be informed that there is nothing to worry about. We are looking forward to welcoming you soon here in Fukuoka.

Dear Colleagues,
I am very pleased to invite you to participate in the 20th General Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law to be held in Fukuoka, Japan between July 22-28, 2018.
The event is being organized by the International Academy of Comparative Law, and it will be the first time that the General Congress has been held in Asia. We are delighted that the city of Fukuoka has been selected to have the unique opportunity of hosting such a large and prestigious event, and I very much look forward to welcoming you here in July 2018.
