We are pleased to announce that the 39th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Radiation Oncology (JASTRO 2026) will be held from November 12 to 14, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

The theme of this meeting is “Blooming Boundaries — Compassion and Innovation: Patient-Centered Radiation Therapy.”

Radiation therapy continues to develop by integrating diverse disciplines, advanced technologies, and the efforts of many professionals. Centered on each patient, physicians, radiological technologists, medical physicists, nurses, and many others work together while engaging with industry, government, international academic societies, regional healthcare, education, diversity, and the changing needs of society. We are now in an era in which boundaries once regarded as limitations are being opened and expanded through innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and compassionate care, allowing radiation therapy to flourish for the benefit of patients.

At this Annual Meeting, we will offer a wide range of scientific sessions and invite distinguished speakers, from early-career professionals to senior leaders. We hope that the next generation of our Society will take part in active scientific discussions and warm exchanges, and experience the power of radiation therapy to combine compassion with innovation.
