Congress President of the 27th Annual Meeting of
Japan Osteoporosis Society
(Professor and Chairperson, Third Department of Medicine,
Teikyo University Chiba Medical Center)

It is our great pleasure to host the 27th Annual Meeting of Japan Osteoporosis Society (JOS), which will be held from September 12th (Fri) to 14th (Sun), 2025 at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Center in Chiba, Japan.
The slogan of the conference is "Let bones live long and live long with bones". We aim to provide the participants with great opportunities to discuss how to maintain bone health within the framework of a multi-organ network and how to live a long healthy life with the bone as a metabolic organ in this super-aging society.
Makuhari Messe is one of the largest convention centers in Japan, conveniently located to the east of Tokyo with great access from both Haneda and Narita airports as well as Tokyo station.
Chiba Prefecture is famous for the geological strata by the Yoro River, which represents the Earth's last magnetic reversal phenomenon. The geological age of this phenomenon has been named "Chibanian," meaning Chiba age. The conference poster features an hourglass symbolizing the magnetic reversal.
Chiba, abundant in natural beauty, also boasts various delicious foods such as vegetables, fruits, and seafood. In addition, Chiba is among leading rice-producing regions in Japan, having 38 sake breweries. We would like to offer conference participants the opportunity to experience the essence of Chiba through heartfelt hospitality.

We sincerely look forward to welcoming many of you to the conference.
