Five Pillars

The main theme of this Congress is “To Craft a Visionary Compass for the Future of Psychiatric and Medical Practice.”

With the aim of maintaining the universal care and high standards that Japanese mental health care is proud of, while envisioning activities that contribute to social development beyond the framework of medical care, the following Five Pillars will serve as the foundation of the Congress program and guide further discussion.

Please select one pillar that best corresponds to the content of your abstract.
For details on the Five Pillars, please refer to the relevant information page

  1. Advancement of psychiatric care based on psychiatric research
  2. Communication with society, including prevention in addition to diagnosis and treatment
  3. Health education and awareness
  4. Development of medical infrastructure to support these efforts
  5. Protection of medical ethics and patient rights
