Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is my absolute honor to invite you to the 10th World Congress for Microcirculation (WCMic 2015), which will take place in Kyoto International Conference Center from September 25-27, 2015. We are pleased to announce that the Congress returns to Japan since 1987.

The theme of the Congress is “Microcirculation and Metabolism”. We attempt to broaden the scope to include the aspect of metabolism. The recent breakthroughs and developments have made it possible to discuss the link between local metabolic signatures and microvascular functions. Together with the International Scientific Programme Committee representing Europe, America Austral-Asia around the globe, we will commit ourselves to develop an exciting meeting to match a growing recognition of the field of Microcirculation.

We welcome you to sample our Japanese hospitality in our old capital, Kyoto -a UNESCO World Heritage site with a long history going back over 1200 years. Kyoto happens to be the first designated international convention city in Japan, filled with historic Japanese architecture and cultural attractions. We believe the location of the meeting is stunning.

See you all in Kyoto in Fall 2015 !

Makoto Suematsu
President, the 10th World Congress for Microcirculation
