Dear Colleagues,

It is my great honor to welcome all of the participants in JSIR & ISIR 2018, which will be held in Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba from May 31 to June 2, 2018.

The 47th meeting of the Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (JSIR) is the annual meeting, the 13th meeting of the International Symposium of Interventional Radiology (ISIR) is held every three years, and this time they are cooperated as the joint meeting. The program covers many interesting topics including arterial intervention, venous intervention, oncologic intervention, non-vascular intervention, etc.

The theme of this meeting is “Passion beyond limits”, and the official language is English. Besides the scientific meeting, we are also planning to have social programs.

Tokyo Daiba is located 20 min from Haneda International Airport, and 15 min from the central Tokyo. May is the best season for trip around Tokyo. I wish you all a very pleasant stay in Tokyo and hope that the meeting will be a great success for participants and organizers and the bounds between Japanese and International Interventional Radiologists will be tighter than ever.
