On behalf of the organizing committee of the 17th East Asian Conference on Infection Control and Prevention (EACIC 2020), I would like to welcome you to Yokohama, Japan, on February 15, 2020. It is a great honor for me to have this chance to hold this historical and traditional conference.

It is very significant to exchange information and opinions regarding infection control and prevention among the countries of the East Asia including China, Korea and Japan. The 17th EACIC 2020 will be held at Yokohama, Japan in the morning of February 15, 2020. The 17th EACIC 2020 will be held with the 35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Infection Prevention and Control.

The Program of the 17th EACIC 2020 consists of two Symposium, Surveillance of Healthcare-associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance. Three delegates each from China, Korea and Japan will speak about the current situation of each country in both Symposium.

I hope many members come and participate in the 17th EACIC 2020 from China, Korea and other East Asian countries.
