Welcome Message from the President
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 18th World Congress of Cryosurgery in collaboration with the Asian Society of Cryosurgery, and the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Low Temperature Medicine from November 26-27, 2015 in Kanazawa, Japan.
@This scientific meeting will offer plenty of learning opportunities in every subspecialty of cryomedicine by way of plenary talks as well as updates as to the latest available evidence delivered through oral communications together with symposia. This is also a great time to build up existing connections or create new ones, find opportunities for collaboration and delve into those topics that might be close to our daily practice.
@Kanazawa is located in the central part of the mainland of Japan. It is a leading tourist city where 8 million tourists visit every year. Kanazawa was a great castle town ruled by an influential leader from the 17th century to the second half of the 19th century. Kanazawa has not suffered from any war devastation or big natural disasters. Thus, Kanazawa has maintained rows of historical houses and various traditional handicrafts and traditional performing arts. Moreover, you can enjoy delicious seafood from the Sea of Japan and rice wines (Sake) that are made from finest sake-brewing rice combined with the naturally clear stream waters.
Be sure to make it to the early bird registration once it opens so you can get the best of this world-class scientific meeting on cryomedicine.
Prof. Hiroyuki Tsuchiya, M.D. PhD
Chairman of the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Low Temperature Medicine
