Due to the pre-judgment schedule, the deadline for the Outstanding Poster Presentation Award will be May 15 (Wed.) at noon, as originally announced. Please note that abstracts submitted or revised after noon on
May 15 (Wed.) will not be judged.

    * Poster Presentation 2 is the category for application for the “Outstanding Poster Presentation Award.” Only JSOMS members are eligible to apply for it. Please note that abstracts submitted or revised after May 15 (Wed.), Noon will not be judged for the award.

Abstract Guidelines

Before submitting an abstract, please carefully read the following guidelines.

Submission Guidelines

Title Limited to 20 words
Body Limited to 400 words
Tables, graphs, images, and references Must not be included
Author and Co-authors Details Maximum of 10 author
Must include First and Family names
Affiliation Details Maximum of 10 affiliations
Must include department, institution (hospital) and country

Presentation Style

The details of the presentation style including allotted time will be informed along with the acceptance notification. Please note poster presentations will be held only on-site.

Outstanding Poster Presentation Award

20 presentations will receive the Outstanding Poster Presentation Award.
Applicants must select “Poster Presentation 2” when submitting.

Acceptance/Rejection of the Abstract

The congress organizer will decide whether to accept or reject the abstract.
The acceptance will be notified by the end of August, along with the presentation style (oral or poster). Please note that the congress organizer will make the final allocation of the accepted abstracts.

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (COI)

For full transparency, any commercial affiliation must be openly declared and identified at the beginning of every presentation to inform the audience.

All presentations, with or without COI, must disclose COI. Please download an example slide to disclose COI from the link below.

Kindly note abstracts received grants from tobacco-related companies or organizations cannot be accepted.
