We are honored to host the 2025 Satellite Symposium on NF2-related schwannomatosis (NF2-SWN). This symposium will be held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Neurosurgical Society in Yokohama, Japan, on November 1, 2025.

This is part of the State of the Art series, the premier gathering of the NF2-SWN professional community. Previous international conferences were held in Paris 2006, Las Vegas 2009, Manchester 2012, Boston 2014, New York 2016, Paris 2018, Los Angeles 2023. These meetings provide a regular forum to bring together scientists, clinicians, and others familiar with NF2-SWN to share their latest basic and clinical research findings and experiences, with the ultimate goal to undertake international translational research projects and initiate novel NF2-SWN-specific therapeutic trials.

The 2025 Conference seeks to attract scientists and clinicians from Japan and Asia to expand collaborations and the reach and resources of the NF2-SWN clinical and scientific communities. The 2025 State of the Art Symposium in Yokohama will address the nodes in the therapeutic NF2-SWN pathway from basic discovery, through translational science, to clinical care, including a review and discussion of the outcomes of the diagnostic criteria. Keynote speakers are world leaders in the NF2-SWN community, and will stimulate fresh discussions and promote new collaborations.

We look forward to welcoming you to Yokohama.
