Information for Speakers

For Oral Presenters

Preparation for presentation data

  • Presentation should be made using Microsoft PowerPoint as a general rule.
    Windows PowerPoint2010/2013/2019 are acceptable.
  • All the equipment is compatible with Windows10. It is not compatible with Macintosh.
    Macintosh users should bring your own laptop. Data made on Macintosh computers cannot be played. (When using your own laptop, you could use either MS PowerPoint or Keynote.)
  • Please use standard fonts, such as, MS Gothic, Century, and Times New Roman.
  • If you are using video data, we recommend using your own laptop.
  • If video is included in your presentation data, Windows Media Player is only available. Linked data should be saved and checked properly in advance.
  • Please disclose any COI during the past one year at the time of registration and the day of presentation. All presenters are required to show a slide disclosing any potential COI on the slide following a title slide.
  • In order to present the data properly at your presentation, please check your data on a different computer.
  • There should be only your presentation data saved on your media.
  • Please check your data with Virus Scanner.
  • Please bring a back-up data.

Precaution for Bringing Your Own Laptop

  • Please unlock the password, screensaver, and reset power-saving mode of your laptop in advance.
  • The output connector for Macintosh, “Mini D-sub 15 pin or HDMI” will be available.
    Please bring your laptop’s AC adapter.
  • Please make sure to prepare a back-up data outside your computer.

  • Please register and check your presentation data at the PC Center at least 30 minutes prior to your presentation.
  • If you are bringing CD-R, USB memory, please hand it to the operator to save the data on a server. The secretariat will be responsible to delete the data after your presentation.
    If you are bringing your own laptop for presentation, please hand it to the operator to check operation and video output. After reviewing your data at PC Preview, please bring your laptop to the Computer Operation Desk 15 minutes before your presentation. The Computer Operation Desk is located at the left front side of your session room.

Presentation at the room

  • All presenters are required to be seated in the designated “next presenters’ seat” at least 10 minutes prior to your session.
  • Your punctuality would be highly appreciated.

For Poster Presenters

Poster Display Requirement

Any poster that is to be presented at ACFS 2022 must be accompanied by a registered author.

No poster will be accepted for display without a minimum of one author registered for the congress.

On the top of the poster board is the poster number which corresponds to your presentation number.
Please set up your presentation materials to the poster board with your number.
Pushpins are provided.

Presenters are expected to stand at their poster board during the assigned Poster Discussion time.
‐Discussion time: Oct. 28(Fri.) 13:00-14:00

Do not leave your belongings, poster containers or any materials under the poster boards or in the poster area. ACFS 2022 is not responsible for articles left in the poster area.

The congress management staff will remove and discard posters that remain after the removal time. No poster removed by the staff will be kept for later collection.

Preparation for Poster Presenters

  • Size of the poster board is 90cm width x 210cm height.
  • Size of usable area is 90cm width x 190cm height.
  • Posters should be readable for viewers one meter away.
  • The poster title, author(s)’s name(s), and affiliation(s) should appear at the top.
  • Only English language may be used.
  • Each poster should be placed on the numbered board assigned to each presenter.
  • Posters should be brought to the congress and not mailed, as the Organizing Committee cannot be responsible for loss or mishandling.
  • Presenters are responsible for posting and removing their own materials.
