The 69th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Human Genetics

I am honored to invite you to the 69th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Human Genetics (JSHG) that will take place at the Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park, Sapporo, Hokkaido, from 9 (Wed) to 12 (Sat) October 2024. Professor Yoshio Makita of the Department of Genetic Counselling, Asahikawa Medical University Hospital, and Professor Takahiro Yamada of the Division of Clinical Genetics, Hokkaido University Hospital serve as Vice-Presidents.
Last year's congress, Human Genetics Asia 2023, was a great success, welcoming many international participants. This year’s meeting will also be the good opportunity to share the latest scientific and technological information as well as expand and strengthen international relationship scientifically and personally. The committee made up of leading experts in human genetics is now planning an attractive scientific program including invited lectures, symposia, workshops, and educational sessions. To make participants from overseas more enjoyable, all abstracts and posters will be in English, and substantial portion of oral sessions will also be presented in English.
It is the first time in 28 years that the JSHG annual meeting is held in Hokkaido. October in Hokkaido is a wonderful time to experience and enjoy pleasant climate, beautiful scenery and lots of delicious foods. The 69th Annual Meeting of JSHG is the unique scientific opportunity you do not want to miss.
