| We received many applications for AAPS2016 Travel Grant. All submitted abstracts were reviewed, and the abstracts received high scores were selected for the travel grant.
The travel grant decision is informed to each applicant by e-mail along with the notification of abstract acceptance.

| The organizing committee of AAPS & JSPS 2016 welcomes and encourages young surgeons from overseas to submit original abstracts in all clinical and basic science related research of pediatric surgery for oral or poster presentations. All applicants from overseas and under age of 40 can apply for the travel grant. If you would like to apply for the travel grant, please let us know when you submit the abstract. Please confirm the information below before applying for the travel grant. |

An applicant must be either a surgeon or a surgical trainee from any country except Japan. |
| 2. |
An applicant must be under 40 years old. |
| 3. |
An applicant may submit more than one abstract. |
| 4. |
Japanese nationals residing abroad are ineligible for this grant. |
| 5. |
Foreign nationals residing in Japan are ineligible for this grant. |
| 6. |
The maximum number of travel grants available is 10, and each grant will be worth 100,000JPY. |
| 7. |
The travel grant of 100,000JPY will be awarded to each presenting author after his/her presentation as a token of our appreciation for participating at AAPS & JSPS 2016. |
| 8. |
It is the applicants' own responsibility to obtain the proper visa to enter Japan prior to the congress. |

| 1. |
All abstracts must be written in English. |
| 2. |
If there are numerous authors, the first author (the registrant) must present the paper at the congress and will be awarded the travel grant. |
| 3. |
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the scientific program committee. |
| 4. |
Abstract acceptance or rejection notification will be e-mailed to the corresponding e-mail address of the presenting author before February 1, 2016. |
| 5. |
Only authors who were selected for presentation at the 24th AAPS meeting can submit their papers for consideration for publication in the Pediatric Surgery International (PSI)(AAPS Issue). |
