この度、第52回日本肩関節学会学術集会を、2025年10月10日（金）・11日（土）の2日間、福岡国際会議場にて開催させていただくこととなりました。学会員の皆さまに福岡の地にお集まりいただけることを心より楽しみにしております。

| 日本肩関節学会は、世界でも最も歴史ある肩関節学会として発展を続けており、学術集会はその理念を体現する場として、日々の研究成果を結集し、共有し合う重要な機会となります。この伝統ある学術集会を開催できますことを光栄に存じ、身の引き締まる思いでおります。 |

| 第52回のテーマは、『学而不厭（がくじふえん）：継続的探求と次世代への継承』といたしました。この言葉は、孔子の教え「学びて厭わず」に由来し、常に学び続ける姿勢、そしてその精神を後進に受け継いでいくという意味を込めております。変化の激しい時代にあっても、肩関節外科の進歩と普及、そして人類の福祉に寄与するという本学会の理念に則り、その精神を次世代へと確かに引き継ぐ場としたいと考えています。 |

| 本学術集会では、国際シンポジウム3題に加え、韓国肩肘学会（KSES）とのハイライトセッション、さらに3題のパネルディスカッションを通じて、幅広い課題を取り上げます。国際シンポジウムでは、RSAにおけるインプラントの選択、腱板修復に関する最新の知見と論点、人工肩関節置換術の長期成績と課題を取り上げ、海外招待講演者を交えた国際的な議論が広がることを期待しております。KSESセッションでは、韓国における肩関節外科の現状や最近の取り組みが紹介される予定です。パネルディスカッションでは、肩関節不安定症とスポーツ復帰、凍結肩の病態と治療、RSA機種の選択と最適化といった臨床に直結するテーマを取り上げ、臨床現場に根ざした議論が行われることを期待しています。特別講演では、元プロ野球監督・選手として長年第一線で活躍された工藤公康氏をお迎えし、「スポーツ医科学と現場を結ぶ 〜障害予防のために私たちが考えること〜」をテーマにご講演いただきます。本講演は、前半の講演と後半のクロストークからなる二部構成として企画しております。 |

| 併設の第22回日本肩の運動機能研究会では、優れた発表を称えることを目的に、優秀演題賞（博多山笠大賞／飛梅賞）および若手演題奨励賞（若鷹賞）を設けました。研究会を盛り上げていただければ幸いです。 |

| It is a great honor to host the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Shoulder Society on October 10 (Fri) and 11 (Sat), 2025, at the Fukuoka International Congress Center. I sincerely look forward to welcoming all members of the Society to Fukuoka. The Japan Shoulder Society is recognized as the first and most historic academic society dedicated to the shoulder worldwide. Its annual meeting serves as a vital forum that embodies the Society’s core mission by gathering and exchanging the latest clinical and research findings. I am deeply honored to lead this distinguished gathering and feel a profound sense of responsibility. |

| The theme of the 52nd Annual Meeting is “『学而不厭』 Gakuji Fuen: Endless Pursuit of Knowledge and Legacy for the Next Generation.” This phrase, originating from Confucius’ teaching “Learn tirelessly,” reflects a commitment to lifelong learning and the transmission of that spirit to future generations. Even in an era of rapid change, we hope to carry forward the Society’s core mission, -advancing shoulder surgery and contributing to the welfare of humanity- by ensuring this spirit is passed on with clarity and conviction. |

| The program includes three international symposia, a highlight session in collaboration with the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society (KSES), and three panel discussions, addressing a broad range of clinical and scientific issues. The international symposia will focus on implant selection in RSA, recent advances and ongoing debates in rotator cuff repair, and the long-term outcomes of shoulder arthroplasty. These sessions aim to foster active international exchange with distinguished invited speakers. The KSES Highlight Session will introduce current trends and recent developments in shoulder surgery in Korea. Topics for the panel discussions include shoulder instability and return to sports, frozen shoulder pathology and management, and implant selection in RSA. These sessions aim to facilitate meaningful discussions grounded in clinical practice. |

| We are pleased to welcome Mr. Kimiyasu Kudoh, a former professional baseball manager and player, as the speaker for our special lecture, titled “Linking Sports Medicine and the Field: Strategies for Injury Prevention.” This session will consist of two parts: a keynote lecture followed by a cross-talk discussion with orthopaedic and rehabilitation specialists. |

| The 22nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Research Society for Shoulder Function, held in conjunction with this meeting, will present awards to honor exceptional presentations, including the “Hakata Yamakasa Prize,” “Tobiume Prize,” and the “Wakataka Prize” for young presenters. |
|
| We hope this meeting will serve as a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and explore the future of shoulder surgery together in Fukuoka. |

| この度、第22回日本肩の運動機能研究会を2025年10月10日（金）・10月11日（土）に福岡国際会議場（福岡市）にて第52回日本肩関節学会学術集会と併催させて頂くこととなりました。 |
|
| 本研究会は、肩関節疾患に対するリハビリテーションに熱い想いを持つ理学療法士とそれに賛同する医師が中心となって発展してきました。当然ながら、医師による診察室内での治療や手術療法だけは患者さんを治すことはできません。とくに複雑な構造と機能を有する肩関節のリハビリテーションの重要性は、他の整形外科領域よりも際立っています。また肩関節疾患を有する患者さんを治療していく上で、リハビリテーション以外の日常生活指導（入浴や着脱など）も重要となります。これらを高いクオリティで達成するためには、医師だけでなく理学療法士、作業療法士、看護師などの視点から積み上げられた肩関節疾患に関するエビデンスと、お互いの視点の違いを理解した上でリスペクトして連携する姿勢が必要です。 |

| 第52回日本肩関節学会学術集会のテーマは「学而不厭：継続的探求と次世代への継承」です。医師、理学療法士、作業療法士、看護師を含めたすべてのメディカルスタッフが、それぞれの立場から肩関節疾患に対してたゆまぬ探求心を持ち、エビデンスを積み上げていけば、肩関節疾患で困っている多くの患者さんを笑顔にできると私は信じています。日本肩関節学会学術集会と連携しながら、魅力的な日本肩の運動機能研究会を開催したいと考えております。会員の皆様のご参加をよろしくお願いいたします。 |
