The 69th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand will be held onsite at HOTEL NEW OTANI HAKATA and DENKI BUILDING (Kyosokan and Main Building). On-demand streaming of each program (excluding some) will be available after the conference period.

1.  Registration
  Regardless of whether you participate on-site or via the web (on-demand streaming), registration is **online registration only**.
Please note that you cannot pay the registration fee at the registration desk at the venue.
Please register by following the on-screen instructions from the ‘Registration’ page on the conference website.
※Please note that all presenters (except invited speakers) must register for the conference.

  Note:
 
•  Students/Initial medical residents are defined as those who are enrolled at a university medical school and are not Members or Associate members.
•  The following categories of participants are required to submit the necessary documents.
 
Students/Initial medical residents*: student ID card or certificate from the head of the university or hospital
Participants in the 38th Annual meeting of Japan hand therapy society*: a copy of the payment confirmation email sent after paying the participation fee for the Hand Therapy Conference
•  The participation fee is non-refundable for any reason after payment has been made.
•  Credit card payment is the only available option.
For participants on site
  After completing your registration, please access your registration My Page to download your Registration Certificate (with QR code) and bring it to the venue. The QR code may also be presented on your smartphone or tablet.
By scanning the QR code at the venue, your name card will be issued.
*Please make sure to wear your name card at the conference. Those not wearing it will not be allowed to enter.

Please come to the PC Preview Desk at least 60 minutes before your presentation (30 minutes before for the first session in the morning) to register and check the video output (preview). Speakers scheduled for Day 2 may also complete their registration on Day 1.
Presentation time
  Please observe the presentation time announced in advance.
A yellow light will indicate one minute before the end of the presentation time, and a red light will indicate the end of the presentation time.
For discussion and questions, please follow the instructions of the moderators.

If you are using data created on a Macintosh, it is recommended that you bring your own Macintosh.
The screen ratio should be 16:9 (wide).
Please do not save any data on media other than that which will be used in your presentation.
If you have linked other data (still images, movies, graphs, etc.) to your presentation, please be sure to save the original data as well, and check the operation of the data beforehand on a different PC from the one on which you created it.
Please enter the abstract number and presenter's name in the file name as shown in the example below.

Please check the media for viruses in advance to prevent virus infection of the system.
Data will be received at PC Preview Desk and stored on the server, and the secretariat will take responsibility for deleting the data after the congress.
For smooth proceedings, please refrain from using Presenter View.
 
〈If you bring your own PC〉
(1)  Please be sure to bring the AC adapter that comes with your PC.
(2)  The PC cable connectors provided at the venue are HDMI. Please prepare a PC suitable for this configuration. If you need a conversion connector, please make sure you have one yourself.
(3)  Please deactivate screen savers, power-saving modes and password settings as they may interfere with your presentation.
(4))  After data reception, please bring your PC to the operator's desk in the conference room at least 15 minutes before your presentation. PC–projector connections will be handled by the operator. After your presentation, please pick up your PC from the operator's desk.
(5)  Please bring a backup copy of your data on a USB flash memory in case of PC trouble.
(6)  Please refrain from using Presenter View to ensure smooth proceedings.

Online presentations via Zoom or other means are not available. Please take your designated position on site.
Please be seated in the next moderator’s seat in the room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your session.
The moderators will be responsible for conducting the session. Please adhere to the schedule.

Please stand in front of the microphone and, following the moderator's instructions, state your affiliation and name before speaking.
Please refrain from lengthy introductions before questions or mere additional remarks.
