*Symposium Abstract Submission Guidelines
•  Please apply as a group of three or more presenters under one common theme.
•  Each presenter must submit one abstract as the first author.
•  To indicate that the abstracts belong to the same symposium, please provide the symposium session theme and the name of the contact person (organizer/representative).
•  If your symposium is not accepted, please indicate whether you would like your abstract to be considered for a regular (oral/poster) presentation or withdrawn.

Submission Guidelines
•  Please register the presenting author as the first author when submitting your abstract.
•  Abstracts must represent original work that has not been previously published or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
•  All submissions must be written in English
•  Your submission should not exceed 2,500 characters (including spaces).
•  You cannot upload any figures/images to your submission.
•  Please ensure complete listing and correct order of all (co-)authors, correct formatting and grammar.
•  If you are applying for a fellowship, please check the appropriate box on the abstract submission page and complete the necessary procedures separately. For more details on the fellowship, click here.
General Rules for Abstract Submission
•  Abstracts may be submitted as regular presentations (oral or poster) or as a symposium. Please note that the final decision regarding the session type or presentation format (e.g., poster, oral presentation, or symposium), including the possibility of rejection, rests entirely with ICPM 2026.
•  All presenting (first) authors will be notified via email in due course regarding the acceptance or rejection of their abstracts.
•  The conference registration fee must be paid upon acceptance of the abstract. Submitting your abstract does not automatically register you for the conference. The organizer reserves the right to withdraw accepted contributions from the program if the presenting author fails to register by the specified deadline.
Publication
All accepted abstracts (except Late Breaking abstracts) for ICPM2026 will be published in an online Supplement Issue of the journal Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics.
