The 34th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Cancer Metastasis

We are pleased to announce the 34th Annual Meeting and General Meeting of the Japanese Association for Cancer Metastasis at Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center on Awaji Island on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, 2025.

The theme of this year's meeting was "Cure and Care of Metastasis by Cancer Professionals. Over the past 30 years, the results of cancer research have progressed from the elucidation of basic mechanisms to clinical application, and today it is not unusual to see patients who have overcome metastasis in clinical practice. In this Annual Meeting, we would like to provide an opportunity to present the latest basic and clinical research with full of enthusiasm for the Cure of metastasis.

In addition, as cancer treatment advances, the number of patients living with metastatic disease is increasing, and the issues of how to coexist with cancer and how society should care for them have been emphasized in the IV Stage Cancer Professional Educational Plan, which began in 2023. We would like to deepen the discussion on this point.

Awaji Island is a resort area in Kansai, rich in nature. It has many features such as fresh seafood, onions, hot springs, sky and sea, and a puppet theater, as well as many famous restaurants that we would like everyone in Japan to know about. We will make the best preparations for an academically fruitful General Meeting against the backdrop of Awaji's charms. I look forward to seeing you in Awaji.
