Travel Award

The travel Award is JPY 50,000.
The best abstracts (Max: 20) from abroad.
Deadline for application is July 10, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

A Travel Award is provided to the first author.
The first author must give a presentation on the accepted abstract at the 3rd JCS Council Forum on Basic Cardio Vascular Research.
Even if more than one abstract is accepted, the travel award will be provided for only one abstract.
The deadline for Travel Award application is July 10.
Applicants who reside in the countries listed below must submit the certificate of residence to the congress secretariat during the meeting.
If you cannot submit them, you won’t be able to receive the travel award.

*Please note that it takes a few months to obtain the certificate of residence in some countries.

*Please be informed that the forms submitted to the congress secretariat by applicants will not be returned no matter what the result of the peer review of the abstract. They will be disposed of by the secretariat.

  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • France
  • Germany

Peer Review

All abstracts will be reviewed in the same manner, regardless of application for the travel award. Abstract acceptance is determined by the Congress President, based on the reviews by the Abstract Review Committee commissioned by the Congress Chairperson.
The acceptance will be announced by email around early August.
The best abstracts (Max:20) can receive the travel award.

Notification

Grant applicants will receive an email notification of results with detailed information in early August.

Those who need visa application documents, please send an email to the Secretariat (bcvr2019@congre.co.jp). Please include your passport name and county, with the email subject as "VISA Support for BCVR 2019".
