ACS2020

Greeting

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that the 18th JKJM2022 will be held in April 2022 after multiple postponements since its original date in April 2020 due to COVID-19. Following the sudden loss of our former President Prof. Hiroyoshi Iguchi, I have assumed the role of Active President, which I am honored and committed to fulfil to the best of my abilities. The meeting will be held online (April 6th – 8th) and on-demand streaming (April 25th – May 25th ).

Online events will include a virtual (remote) presentations for five Keynote Lectures (Topics: Otology, Head & Neck Surgery, Rhinology, Innovations in Endoscopic Ear Surgery, and Regenerative Medicine for Airway Organs) and 10 symposiums (Otologic Surgery, Recent advances in OSA, Robotic Head and Neck Surgery, How to manage eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis (ECRS), State-of-the-art Pediatric ORL, Recent topics of diagnosis and treatment of olfactory dysfunctions, Problems of Dysphagia, Recent advances in medical devices on vestibular science, Problems of tinnitus research, and Recent Topics for Head and Neck Tumors).
All Poster (Free Papers) presentations with the slides submitted in advance will be available on the website from April 7th. (Please note that details are subject to change).

JKJM has been successfully held biannually alternating between Japan and Korea since the first meeting in 1986, in Seoul, Korea. While we experienced our first postponement, we remain resilient and hopeful for emerging out of this pandemic soon. I am looking forward to seeing you at the meeting.
