Holly A. Ingraham 

Holly A. Ingraham, PhD, is the Herzstein Professor of Molecular Physiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research focuses on hormone-responsive nodes in the brain and peripheral tissues that impact metabolic, skeletal, and gut physiology and women’s health. Through question-driven basic science, Ingraham has uncovered how hormonal fluctuations lead to adaptive responses in females across their lifespan. Ingraham is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. from UCSD.
