Aleisha Moore

Etienne Challet

Etienne Challet received his Ph.D. degree from University of Strasbourg (France) in 1996. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University (USA), and a second postdoctoral fellowship at Free University of Brussels (Belgium). In 2000, he has been recruited as a Tenured Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Strasbourg, and promoted as research director in 2007 and senior research director in 2021. His research focuses on the neurobiology of circadian rhythms, metabolism and neuroendocrinology. His projects aim to better understand the reciprocal interactions between circadian rhythms and nutrition, using mainly nocturnal and diurnal rodents as animal models.
