Dr. Renata Frazao is an Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where she leads a research program investigating the hypothalamic mechanisms that regulate the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis, with a particular focus on hypothalamic neuronal physiology. Her laboratory combines electrophysiology, intracellular calcium imaging, pharmacological, and behavioral approaches to elucidate how metabolic and hormonal signals regulate puberty and fertility. Dr. Frazao serves as Vice President of the Pan American Neuroendocrine Society (PANS), fostering international collaboration and scientific training, and is a Guest Editor for the Journal of Neuroendocrinology.
