Prof. Boehm is a graduate of the University of Cologne and received his postdoctoral training in Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School and at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center with Nobel laureate Linda Buck. After heading a group at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg (ZMNH), he was appointed full professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Saarland School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Boehm's laboratory uses mouse genetics to study neural circuits underlying reproductive physiology and behavior.
