Seminar Overview
The Dynamic Imaging Grade of Swallowing Toxicity for Flexible Endoscopic Evaluations of Swallowing (DIGEST-FEES) was developed to provide an overall pharyngeal swallowing impairment severity score. This score is based on the interaction of airway invasion and pharyngeal residue over the course of a swallow study. In this practical workshop we will review how to use the DIGEST-FEES methodology in clinical practice, including real time rating practice.
