Eligibility Requirements

  • Each presenting author may submit only one abstract across Symposia, Minisymposia (Oral Presentations), Poster Presentations, Wakate Dojo and LBA categories. However, duplicate submission with Mini Talk is allowed.
  • The presenting authors must pre-register and submit their abstract by themselves. Proxy submissions by co-authors are not permitted.
  • Agreement from all co-authors must be obtained before submitting the abstract.
  • Membership in the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry is required for abstract submitters (presenting authors). If you are not currently a member, please join the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry as soon as possible.

Presentation Format and Language

  • LBA presentations are accepted in the Poster Presentation format only.
  • Additional information, such as poster size will be announced on the website approximately one month prior to the congress.
  • LBA presenters are not eligible for presentation awards.

Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure

Presenting and corresponding presenters (including non-members), as well as their spouses or first-degree relatives with shared income/assets, must disclose any conflicts of interest from the past year. Any relevant conflicts must be disclosed at the beginning of the presentation during the annual meeting.

Ethical Considerations for Presentations

  • Research involving human subjects must comply with ethical guidelines such as the Declaration of Helsinki and the policies of relevant Japanese ministries. Abstracts must state that informed consent was obtained, confidentiality was maintained, and anonymity was ensured.
  • Research involving animals must adhere to applicable laws and institutional animal research guidelines. Approval from the ethics committee or equivalent body must be obtained.

Important Notes

  • After the deadline, no corrections, changes, or additions will be allowed. Abstract details are the responsibility of the presenting author.
  • Notification e-mail regarding acceptance/rejection, session date & time, and venue will be send after program organization. Please note that some abstracts may be rejected.
