Asian Award |

Article 1 (Purpose) |
|
The Japanese Circulation Society aims to contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular research. This award is presented to outstanding abstracts that have demonstrated excellence in both clinical and basic cardiovascular research across Asia. |

Article 2 (Eligibility) |
|
1. |
Applicants must submit an abstract for the regular abstracts of the 90th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society and apply for the Asian Award. |
|
2. |
Applicants must be first authors of Asian origin (excluding Japan), regardless of age. |
|
3. |
Applicants must have conducted the research at an institution located in Asia. |
|
4. |
Applicants must not have previously received this award. |
|

|
|
Article 3 (Application Procedure) |
|
1. |
Applications must be submitted via the Asian Award abstract submission page (including submission of a CV, etc.). |
|
2. |
One unpublished manuscript that corresponds to the submitted abstract (not yet published in print or online, including preprints) must be uploaded through the submission page. |

|
Article 4 (Important Notes) |
|
1. |
Abstracts that are deemed to be identical to those previously presented at other academic meetings or published in academic journals will be disqualified, regardless of whether this is discovered before or after acceptance. |
|
2. |
Ethics review and conflict of interest (COI) disclosures must be registered in accordance with the general abstract submission system. |
|

Article 5 (Award) |
|
Awardees will be honored at the international award ceremony during the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society. The first-place winner will receive 200,000 yen, and four runners-up will receive 100,000 yen each and a certificate. In addition, awardees will receive free registration and a travel grant. |

Article 6 (Revision and Abolition) |
|
Revisions or abolishment of these application guidelines must be approved by the International Relations Committee and the Board meeting. |
